He worked at St. Thomas’ Hospital in UK, where he developed skills in minimally invasive arterial and venous treatments.

He has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Dalhousie Department of Surgery. In 2019 became a member of the aortic team at SJRH, where offers his expertise in complex endovascular surgeries.
In the Vein Clinic Dr. Lioupis puts emphasis on innovative, less invasive “office-based treatments” that require minimal anesthesia (freezing), are well tolerated, cause minimal post-procedural discomfort, and allow for an immediate return to work and daily activities.
